Union Effect Monsters 1
In this first Union Monster deck I am just learning how these Union monsters work. The deck can be improved a lot, but I am done learning about these cards for now. Burning Beast and Freezing Beast are both Unions, can equip each other, and have midrange ATK and DEF: they are keepers. Aitsu/Koitsu... well, they suck. I was unable to pull off that equip even once!

Unbanned Fantasy Deck: Exodia
This deck is great to grind for points, and its better than just surrendering. I used it to open up all of the booster packs.
I didn't even notice that I had forgotten to add two of the pieces for complete three-of's. Here is the corrected deck, but the one above was good enough to open up all the boosters.

July 2003 Format: Machine Fusion
Another old-school fun deck. As usual, the Fusions I want to play are the weakest cards in the deck.
The two Fusions I want to understand better are (the effect is identical for both):
Super Robolady
You can Special Summon "Super Roboyarou" by returning this card from the field to the Extra Deck. You cannot use this effect during the same turn this monster is Special Summoned. In addition, increase the ATK of this monster by 1000 points during the Damage Step when this monster inflicts Direct Damage to your opponent's Life Points.

July 2003 Format: Spirits
The Spirits in Legacy of Darkness require a good long read before playing. When I first played them just to learn how they work, I was not reading the whole effect, and that's a big mistake.
Maharaghi (EARTH)
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. If this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, look at 1 card on the top of your Deck during your next Draw Phase (before you draw), and return the card to the top or the bottom of your Deck.
Fushi No Tori (FIRE)
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, increase your Life Points by an amount equal to the Battle Damage.
Asura Priest (LIGHT)
Cannot be Special Summoned. During the End Phase of the turn this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up: Return it to the hand. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each.
Great Long Nose (DARK)
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points, your opponent skips their next Battle Phase.
Susa Soldier (EARTH)
This card cannot be Special Summoned. This card returns to the owner's hand during the End Phase of the turn that this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up. The Battle Damage this card inflicts to your opponent's Life Points is halved.
And here is the brief version:

July 2003 Format Deck: Fiend Fusion
A surprisingly reliable deck. I am not interested in taking out the one Fusion monster and focusing on Fiends because, unlike Warriors, there is not much of a benefit to doing that. There just aren't enough good Fiend-specific spells and traps I can benefit from.

July 2003 Format Deck: Warriors
I wanted to make the Warrior Fusions work, and it just did not happen. The last version is reliable in pulling off the Yata lock, but I want an even stronger and very consistent deck. Now it's all Warriors and a few Spellcasters (especially our dear Gemini Elf).

July 2003 Format Deck: Warrior Fusion
This deck is somewhat of a brick, and the Warriors in it are very weak. It's an educational experience. I have recorded two wins with it, and I am done. This one is purely for historical purposes only. Warriors at this stage are a much stronger deck without any Fusion monsters.
July 2003 Warrior Fusion Version 1
Monsters
3 Guardian of the Labyrinth
3 Hibikime
3 Protector of the Throne
3 Warrior Dai Grepher
1 Exiled Force
1 Fiber Jar

3 The A. Forces
1 United We Stand
Traps
1 Call of the Haunted
Extra Deck
3 Empress Judge
3 Guiltia the D. Knight
3 Ryu Senshi
OK, that was a very weak build. I took out the weaker Warriors and put in Warrior beaters to replace them. The deck is now doing much, much better.
